Introducing our new President

At last weeks AGM, the new President of the Ayrshire Cattle Society took office. Keith Davidson is from the Haugh of Urr, Castle Douglas, Kircudbrightshire and is owner of the Halmyre Urr Ayrshire herd of 200 milking cows. Keith farms with his wife Jane and son Colin and has two daughters Katie and Kyla. The family also produce the famous Glen Urr Ice Cream which is retailed through the family business, The Toffee Shop in Castle Douglas and also hotels and restaurants in the area.
We welcome Keith to the position of President and wish him a good and succesful year ahead.
Michael Howie (Morwick) is the new President Elect and we welcome Steve Bailey (Beeline) to the Presidents committee as the new Junior President Elect.
