Tessvale Judging Seminar

On Monday 20th October, Ayrshire members and friends travelled to Tessvale Ayrshires, Stoke-on-Trent by kind permission of Chris and Andrea Adams and Family for the Society judging seminar.
For the official event, Chris and his team prepared a class of heifers and a second class of cows where judges placed both classes in their preferred order and gave reasons on one of the classes under a consensus scoring system.
The standard of the judging, and especially reason giving from the judges attending was incredibly high with ten competitors scoring over 80%, with eight of them scoring over 90 points within their reasons and a further four achieving a qualifying score.
The work that Chris Adams, his family and his helpers contributed to the event was evident which made the day so successful, and this was all very much appreciated by everyone. We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to them all for their hard work, enthusiasm and dedication to the day.
