Work Experience Required

Calling all members:-

We have a young member visiting from New Zealand who is a member of the New Zealand Ayrshire Association and is in the UK on a 2 year work visa.  She is very interested in meeting the UK Ayrshire Breeders and seeing their cows and farms, and generally experiencing what farming is like in the UK.

Sian has spent the last 5 years working on her family dairy farm in Norsewood (peak milking 750 cows) while studying a Bachelor of AgriCommerce (majoring in Farm Management) at Massey University, where she was in charge of calf rearing (spring calving, rearing around 200 a year) as well as most record keeping tasks.

If anyone has any opportunities for Sian on their farm please contact the office. Location is not an issue, assistance with travel and accommodation would maybe be required - the office can help with this.
