A Royal Performance From A Cast Of CSA Stars

CSA sires once again played their part in a right royal performance at the recent 2015 Royal Highland Show held at Ingliston, Edinburgh. All the cattle in the final championship line up were either sired by CSA bulls or closely related to one of our bulls.
Champion for the day was a very correct third calver from Jim, Gilmour and Kevin Lawrie, Brieryside, with Brieryside Executive Sparky 7 sired by the established type favourite WAXHAM EXECUTIVE. Now in her third lactation she gave 9376 kgs @ 3,97% bf @3.36% p in 305 days in her second and includes in her back breeding such CSA giants as MEIKLE LAUGHT TRIPLE CROWN and CUTHILL TOWERS AUTUMN GOLD.
In Reserve place was the second calver Halmyre Urr Louise 254 who is a maternal sister to the very promising young CSA sire HALMYRE URR LIEUTENANT EX 92. No stranger to the limelight this great young cow exhibits all the positive traits you would expect from her brother.
Honourable mention for the day was the very stylish Cuthill Towers Radar Ray 13 EX 93 by the world renowned HUNNINGTON MANDELLA and she continues to build on her reputation as "a cow for all seasons" having been a winner in March at the UK Dairy Expo and previous Agriscot events in November.
