Glenwood Dreamer Irene sells at Prestigious Red Ribbon Sale

Following a superb show at the 2015 UK Dairy day in Telford the first Red Ribbon sale was held for a selection of the best families in the UK from all breeds. Representing the Ayrshire breed Sam Wadsworth from Northern Ireland consigned Glenwood Dreamer Irene, a January 2015 born Nexus Dreamer daughter bred from 6 generations of VG/EX out of Craigtown Irene 135 EX91. The Irene family in Ronnie Irwins herd are known as one of the UKs leading families. Bids came fast and furious for this superb young heifer with the winning bid of £6800. The successful purchase came from Naomi Walters for her new Ayrshire herd in Shepton Mallet, Somerset. Congratulations to Naomi and to Sam for consigning a superb heifer to represent our breed.
