The first new release sire of 2023 is Troutbeck Daring. Daring is a Ardmore Crown Napier son of the great Troutbeck Burdette Jess 3. Jess 3 is scored EX96 (6E) and has a long list of show wins to her name which includes Reserve Champion at the National show and a 3 time class winner at the Royal Highland Show. Not just a pretty cow she also has a lifetime yield of over 80 tonnes in 8 lactations with a highest yield of 12,517KG at 4.4% fat and 3.18% protein in her fifth lactation. Behind Jess are Troutbeck Touchdown Jess VG85 and Myerscough Jess 123 EX92 (3E).
As well as his great pedigree Daring has a very intresting genomic proof, being a plus for PLI, production, fertility index and all of the main type traits.
