"Tomorrow's Breeders"

The Ayrshire world recognises that its future lies with the younger members of its organisation. Calf classes are now an integral part of many shows around the world.

Many of today's showmen and women started out showing calves on a local basis, from there moving to National shows.

Junior members want to learn handling, clipping and showing techniques. Videos and leaflets are available as guides, but youngsters learn most from 'hands-on' experience attending seminars and meetings leads to friendship, and additionally provides a great social life for all ages.

Young members provide fresh ideas, and are becoming more involved in the running of their individual country's breed societies and events.

Their progressive outlook will most certainly take the breed into the next century.
