Hugh Stevenson Trophy Winner - 2009

This year’s winner of the Ayrshire Cattle Society’s “Hugh Stevenson Memorial Trophy“ is Peter Drummond, Bratlach Farm, Cottown, Bangor, Northern Ireland.

This trophy is awarded annually to the young member who has scored the most points in all the Society’s competitions and who has also been adjudged to have made a major contribution to the Young Member’s Movement throughout the year.

Peter farms in partnership with his father and brother at Bratlach where they run a dairy herd of 200 pedigree Ayrshire cows. He was presented with his award by Ayrshire Cattle Society President Chris Weaver at this year’s Dairy Event at Stoneleigh.

In joint second place was James Lawrie, Cuthill Towers, Kinross and Colin Davidson, Halmyre, Castle Douglas.
