In the first week of April, 30 young members and friends congregated at the Wheyrigg Hall Hotel near Wigton in Cumbria to take part in what is always the premier event of the year, the Young Breeders Gathering.

This year’s winner of the Ayrshire Cattle Society’s “Hugh Stevenson Memorial Trophy“ is Peter Drummond, Bratlach Farm, Cottown, Bangor, Northern Ireland.

Dairy Showmanhip Champion at this year's Highland Show was Kyla Davidson, Halmyre, Castle Douglas.

At this year's show, young members Bradley & Becky Vine did very well in the young leaders competition. In the Junior section, Bradley was placed first and Becky was also first in the Senior section.

The Ayrshire Cattle Society’s Young Members Gathering was hosted this year by the Wigtownshire Club.
