Ayrshire animals from across the UK will feature in a top quality display of all that is good in the Ayrshire breed.  The show and sale will take place on Wednesday 3 November at Harrison & Hetherington's Borderway Mart, Carlisle.  There will be a large entry of freshly calved cows and heifers, in-calf heifers, maidens, breeding bulls and embryos.

Now in its second year, the Murchland Perpetual Trophy, awarded by the Ayrshire Cattle Society to the highest placed Ayrshire herd in the Gold Cup competition, went to M/s L Davidson & Sons, Halmyre, Haugh of Urr, Castle Douglas.
