Paraham Dispersal Sale

A top call of 1820 gns was achieved at Hamfield Farm, Berkeley when Paul and Janet Andrews dispersed their organic herd under the Voyce Pullin hammer.

Lot 21, Parham Valerie 7 a fresh September second calverby Edenvale Frontpiece and tracing back to Ashmansworth blood reached 1820 guineas, £1911 selling to M R Tizzard, Dorset.

M/s Tizzard bid strongly throughout the day purchasing almost 1/3rd of the herd including Lot 31 Parham Misty 2 due early November with her second at 1620 gns.

M/s Norbury also battled hard to secure Parham bloodlines taking Parham Peach a July calved heifer by Gummee Wedcome giving 22kg at 1650 guineas.

In calf heifers were also in strong demand selling to a top of 1300 guineas to Mr Tizzard whilst M/s Nicholls travelled from Devon to secure Bangower Top delight blood through the 2 year old buller Parham June 6 at 780 guineas whilst R C Martin purchased November 07 born Parham Milkmaid 7 for 860 guineas. The Ayhno breed Angus Bull sold to achieve 2200 guineas selling locally to the Allen Family

Collective Sale - 26th June 2009

At a collective sale of youngstock from the East Church, Gadles, Hilltown and Marlbrook herds a total of 93 heifers found a ready market, with one purchaser taking 22.

Top price of the day was £1281, for in calf heifer Gadles Flanders, due at the end of July, sired by Shady Walnut Conn, out of Trillian Flanders who recorded 8832 kgs in her third lactation.
