April Pedigree Dairy Sale at Borderway Mart

The April Pedigree Dairy Sale at Borderway on Wednesday 20th April included a great variety of good quality Ayrshires.

The top price in the Red & White section went  to Messrs A & S Lawrie for Cuthill Towers Ray 27 a Cuthill Towers Prince Rupert daughter selling Messrs T D Goldie & Son of Manor House Farm, North Yorkshire for 1750 gns. Also from the “Cuthill Towers” herd, the second top price of 1700 gns for Cuthill Towers Miss Freddie sired by Cuthill Towers Prince Freddie was purchased by M & M Wilson & Sons of Marsh House, Kirkbride.  Mr Wilson also purchased Halmyre Urr Louise 229 a Howie's Stelth daughter for 1650 gns from L Davidson & Sons, Halmyre, Castle Douglas.  Reaching 1600 gns was Cuthill Towers Daisy Mae 4 by Cuthill Towers Prince Rupert from Messrs A & S Lawrie was also purchased by Messrs T D Goldie & Son.
